Martin is Head of Aviation for Alliance & Leicester and responsible for the management and development of the banks aviation portfolio. This includes the origination/structuring of all aviation related asset backed transactions.

He has worked in the asset finance industry for nearly 20 years initially with Lombard, where he focused on traditional asset finance and commercial mortgages.

Martin joined Alliance & Leicester in 1998 in London after the bank established a dedicated Corporate and Structured Finance team, and has worked in Shipping as well as Aviation, before moving on to specialise purely in financing aircraft.

Alliance & Leicester have been active across all aviation asset classes, primarily providing debt into operating leases with a portfolio of some $2bn.
